A full day of open lapping split into three run groups, with instructors available for anyone in their first two events. Bring any road-legal car that passes tech.
Running order
- Gates & registration openSign the waiver, collect your wristband.
- Technical inspectionEvery car, every event. Allow twenty minutes.
- Mandatory drivers' briefingMiss this and you don't run. No exceptions.
- Session one — NoviceInstructor in the right seat if you'd like one.
- Lunch breakTrack closed. Food on site.
- Last session endsPaddock clear by 6:00 PM.
What's included

What you need
- A helmet rated SA2020 or newer — loaners available, limited sizes
- Long sleeves, long trousers, closed shoes
- A car that passes tech: no leaks, good brakes, battery secured
- Your own tools and fuel. There is no pump on site.
Questions we get every time
Can I bring passengers?
Only registered instructors ride along during sessions. Between sessions the paddock is open to anyone with a wristband.
What happens if it rains?
We run in the wet. Events are only cancelled for lightning or standing water, and in that case your entry rolls to the next date.
Is it too soon for my first time?
No. About a third of every open day is first-timers, which is exactly why the novice group gets instructors and its own briefing.
