How it works

Three steps to your first race

No experience, no kart and no idea what a "heat" is? That is the normal starting point here.

  1. Come and try

Book an arrive-and-drive session on any race day. Kart, helmet and suit are included, and an instructor rides the first few laps with you.

    $35 · about two hours

  2. Join the club

If you like it, membership gets you practice days, a mentor, and a spot in the novice class where everyone is learning the same things at the same time.

    $140 a year · family rate available

  3. Race properly

Two race days a month from March to November. We will help you get a licence, and someone will always lend you a tyre gauge.

    $25 a race day

Fees shown are placeholder figures for a fictional club.

Cedar Valley is a volunteer-run karting club. Two race days a month, arrive-and-drive karts for first-timers and a paddock where nobody minds explaining things twice.
